To Write Love On her Arms

It all began with a story. A story of a girl who had lost all hope. Jamie Tworkowski, founder of "Two write love on her arms", was inspired by his friends struggle. Renee was just 19. She had been thru a great deal of pain and she was using drugs to help numb the pain, hoping to make it go away. Her arms are covered with cuts, each cut representing hurt and dissapointment. One night the pain became to much for her to bare. She tried to ease the pain with a bottle of alcohol. She used the razor blade she had with her to write hte words "F*** UP" largely accross her arm. She became an inspiration to all.

Jamie Tworkowski, founder of "To write love on her arms", a non profit orginaization making noise about suicide and suicide prevention, was more than inspired by his friends struggle. He took matters into his own hands and decided to shed light on a subject so many have decided to ignore. TWLOHA promotes their cause by printing their message on various t shirts. Many bands have brought attention to the cause by wearing these t shirts on stage. They are making an impact on our youth and reaching out to those in need of help. To Write Love On her arms is a cause worth listening to.
