"I've noticed, their is no category for religion! Did the editors of this page think," it could get pretty ugly if you have that category. Based on some of the things I've seen in here, so can Politics. Please pardon my english literature, I'm no graduate major or anything like that, even though some of the things I read from those who proclaim to be, well enough said. I have a BS degree(Bull $#@^). My whole philosophy through school was WHO NEEDS ENGLISH, I'M NEVER GOING TO ENGLAND. That's a joke people, I did go to England.
A majority of the political views come down to religion, for instance if you are writing about the wars or troubles in the middle east, it comes down to one thing. The peace loving religion of Islam, in-turn they will accuse the Christians of not following their true belief of being led like sheep to the slaughter! What they don't realize is, meek doesn't mean weak.
I guess you can tell by my biased opinion that I am a Christian! Well, we seem to have our own issues, paticular types of clergy allowed(Gays), pedophile priest, Divorced deacons, leaders changing the bible to fit their certain man made beliefs, the newest one is the prosperity gospel, etc, etc. But all of our problems are self inflicted. We can't seem to agree, to disagree. In the end it all comes down to one thing, that's your personal relationship with one called JESUS.
I know from reading and hearing about the muslim faith, that if you publish a picture or write any thing about their prophet, you get the death sentence. Like the guy named,Solomon Rushdie, he had to go into hiding for years. How about the cartoons over in Denmark, I believe, riots took place because of an editorial piece. In our country you can pass laws forbidding the mention of Jesus name in schools, Government buildings, public meetings, because you might OFFEND someone. But my religion does tell me that these things will take place, "for many will be offended, by my name".
So please enlighten me, which one is really the peace loving religion. If you have to go back to the dark ages, and talk about the Crusades, please spare me the rhetoric. Atheist and Agnostics, sorry to leave you out, but Christmas is just around the corner.
