Pennsylvania Gun-Toting Soccer Mom Dead
Meleanie Hain, a 31-year-old Pennsylvania woman who made headlines last year by carrying a 9mm Glock strapped to her belt to her 5-year-old daughter's soccer game, has been shot and killed by her husband. Scott Hain, 33, then went upstairs and killed himself by firing a 12-guage shotgun into his head.
Meleanie was chatting on a webcam with a friend when Scott began firing. Her friend, who remains unamed, had look away from the computer screen for a moment. The friend heard a shot and a scream and turned in time to see Scott firing several rounds toward where Meleanie had been just moments before.
The couple's three children were home during the shootings.
