All other major sports organizations in the United States - National Football League, Major League Baseball, National Hockey League, and the National Basketball Association - all have a Hall of Fame to honour the best in their sport. On May 10, 2010 the American premiere racing association the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) will open the doors on its own Hall of Fame and museum. On May 11 NASCAR will induct the first five members of the brand new Hall of Fame.
The NASCAR Hall of Fame and Muesum is located in Charlotte, North Carolina and offers over 50 interactive exhibits in a 150,000 square foot facility. Beginning October 14 fans may begin purchasing tickets for the new Hall of Fame. NASCAR Officials have strived to offer the best entertainment value possible while making ticket prices affordable for fans. Tickets will be available via the Hall of Fame website at www.nascarhall.com, by calling 877-231-2010, or from Ticketmaster outlets where fans will receive a $1 discount on each ticket.
