Michael Moore as Mother Theresa?

Capitalism: A Love Story is about the unfair income distribution in America, due to Capitalism. Michael Moore continues to fight for the poor and middle class, in his documentaries, in the hopes of being the modern-day Robin Hood to steal from the rich and provide for the poor and helpless. He describes the rich getting richer because of their greed, power, corruption and manipulation, while the poor and middle class remain poor, helpless, and without hope for their future.

Time is money is constantly emphasized in this documentary as Michael Moore visits big corporations to demand the American people’s money back, and the security guards refuse to let him enter and meet with the CEOs. He continues to hound corporate America, and they give him indirect or unclear answers to his questions. Furthermore, the media messes with the public’s mind, trying to scare them in order to further manipulate and brainwash them into acting according to the power of Capitalism, like a subliminal hypnosis and mind control machine, promising Americans a better future, a future that some will never obtain because of lack of funds and/or opportunities that are given to more affluent people who can afford it. On top of that, the political war continues. The republicans mock Barack Obama because he is trying to create socialism, while the democrats mock the republicans as greed-mongers. When will the hatred end?

The documentary ends with a crime scene yellow tape marking business buildings. And, therefore, signifying that this love story has a tragic ending for the American middle class society because their American Dream is forever gone and Capitalism has killed their hopes for a better life and future, for their families.

That's an interesting review and I look forward to seeing the film, even though I feel Moore has become something of a grad stander and is almost making these films more for himself than for the public. I am not a big fan of his style, but he does always get great footage and interesting interviews and information

I saw the preview at the local art house. I will probably go see it, even though I don't like his Bombast and Manipulation, but oh well that's politics. At least he makes a good living shedding crocodile tears. Maybe someone will come along one day and go into some depth about the inner workings of the present system and offer a rational alternative.

Sounds interesting, I'm always pleased to hear about a movie coming out that helps the public understand how this country runs. Hopefully it's good food for the brain hahah.

Haven't seen the film yet, but Moore usually delivers something thought provoking. One thing is certain: the rich-poor gap is no joke. 20 percent of the population owns more than 80 percent of the wealth. Greed obviously plays a role, as just recently there were reports of "bailed out" executives giving themselves bonuses. The problem might not be the capitalistic system, but the people who are part of it.

yeah. in the movie, there was something about bail out as well as other stuff that the executives were doing. there were lots of things going on in the movie.

I'm looking forward to seeing the movie in the near future. I wonder if MM will donate all his evil capitalist profits from the film to charity? No? OK, maybe he can just donate a cool million to The Punditty Project.

I have never seen any of Michael Moore's movies and I am waiting for them to come on TV. Very well written review. I wonder if Michael Moore is going to donate any of the money he made on this film to the poor? If he does, let me know because I lost my job of 14 years and for the first time in my life collectors are hounding me.
