the pup tent party

The lies and idiocy does not stop it only continues to get worse every day as Republicans get increasingly desperate to stop Obama, Democrats, and empathy. Lindsey Graham says Republicans are poised to come roaring back. God help us! He better look at his big tent party again, it is the Big Top party, a circus. I was stunned to hear Graham say Republicans are closer to Americans than Obama. Where has he been the last few years?

Lindsey Graham is right saying the brand is tainted. It is! He said they lost their principles but they did not. They are simply showing their true colors. In the National Council for a new America you have the same old group choosing the old face as the new face of their party. Nothing has changed. You saw the real McCain running for President. He is not the man he wants you to think he is. Nothing will change as they still have a long way down to go.

While I was reading about the phony GOP launching another rebranding effort I saw the new Republican commercial and they are worse than ever. The commercial depicted Obama as weakening and endangering America. It is so Cheneyish! The commercial is played to dire sounding fear music. Nothing has changed. If they really want to portray change be true conservatives. Do not just voice change live it mean it prove it. They keep saying they want to be inclusive.

Since Bush rode off into the sunset proud of his success in thoroughly destroying us and Obama got elected as President to try and fix the mess he made of us and the world the Republicans have changed their face. Sarah Palin, and the likes of Michelle "Conspiracy" Bachmann and the most prominent of the talk-show types Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, have become the new face of the Republican party. Democrats endanger themselves laughing off the new pup tent party, They may be smaller but the fringe is getting more distant, much louder, and more dangerous.

Lindsey Graham and John McCain see the importance of reclaiming their values and their party even as the likes of John Boehner ignore the idiocy revel in it and appear to cheer it on. Lindsey Graham and John McCain at least see the approaching danger not only to their party but the country if the idiocy continues from the likes of Beck and Limbaugh and if someone as inept as Palin ever got near the Presidency. Palin, Limbaugh, Beck … now it's Republicans seeing the downside

I will never comprehend anyone thinking that ditz and insult to all women let alone qualified female politicians Sarah "Paling" is Presidential material. I mean cut the crap! That alone must tell serious Republicans that they must take their party back. Why They're Wild About Palin

* In closing there is a war going on right now between the White House and Republicans as to Beck and Limbaugh and who they represent. Lindsey Graham said Beck represents no party only cynicism but I believe he represents the cynical Republican party. The White House at the same time is trying to align Beck and Limbaugh with the Republican party. I am relieved to see that finally someone of consequence is saying the Birthers are crazy and all the Birther and Nazi idiocy must come to a halt but it will not until the likes of Boehner come forward and he will not as he loves this.

Graham said that anyone who thinks President Obama was not born in Hawaii and an American is just plain crazy! Finally someone in the Republican party pipes up and says we must stop this! Graham: Obama is not a Muslim he is a good man. Let's knock this off! I do not care who says Beck is not cynical that is BS! He is very cynical. There is no excuse for him. He represents the cynical Republican party. Whether it is Beck Limbaugh, Palin or anyone in any party cynicism is the name of the game in 21st century Politics!

Republicans don't need to stop Obama, Democrats, the IOC & Saturday Night Live are all doing a great job of it.
Posted By jmsjoin James Joiner | 4 months ago
I just caught Limbaugh saying any time we can make Obama fail is a great victory for us! The idiots dion't care that Obama's Waterloo is our Waterloo. Only the party's matter and it is sick, sick!

You know you are right but I do not like the consequences some Republicans are trying to make this one have!

JAmes - I think the point is - if you don't give Rush press - he won't succeed at a negative message. I don't listen to Rush at all - not that I'm normal - but hey... If you don't give someone a platform - they can't stand up and if you don't listen - people will stop sponsoring and if he loses sponsers - he loses ratings and he gets dropped. Point being - if less left sided folks listened to Rush - he'd lose his platform..... just a thought!

Another inaccurate political profiling article from a Massachusetts socialist once again, who doesn't recognize that partisanship is as dead as a door nail at this point and that the two parties have literally merged. Global socialists don't tend to recognize the hypocricy withint their own positions since historically, most wars that have started have been under supposed Democratic administrations within this century, actually.

And Mr. Joiner as one of those apparently loves to lie and spin tails in order to forment his own political partisanship wars.

Since Palin, Limbaugh and those named are just as "liberal" as Mr. Joiner in their Constitutional interpretations, and just as socialistic. And Obama by far is the biggest corporate welfare at the cost of the American people of all. In bed with the British Murdoch group also that these "politicians" truly represent.

There style of conservatisim is along the British lines, of course, not the American. And what another bunch of marlarkey. And still waiting for the information with respect to the day job, and whether Mr. Joiner has any party affiliations of his own, "corporate" wise, that is.

Since corporatism runs rampant in both. Not liberty. Nor freedom. Nor the Bill of Rights on either side, since Napolitano is the biggest political profiler of all, while demonizing others for their beliefs.

And your blue nose New England elitism just shows in your cartoon what a truly "British" style of globalist you actually are, Mr. Joiner.

Since Massachusetts ought to cede itself and join with Canada as their true form of government under the "monarchial" style of government you also seem to prefer.

Rather than the Constitutional Republic which we actually are. And appears you must have missed some of those government classes while bumming through Massachusetts in your youth, correct?

And McCain, Napolitano, Reid, Pelosi all belong to the same club, the British socialist party and truly are answerable to Lord Rothchild, owner of our banking system.

Or are you also that unaware of what is truly going on here as you continue to seem to be?

Hi Marryanne
I certainly do not listen to Rush but like Beck he has a big audience that listens to his babble and I get it from msnbc in passing as part of psycho talk!

Yes, but I am not going to list all the radical left wingers and state that they are the true voice of the Democratic party now should I?

Kasich is a very good example of the Republican party - and Huckabee...and me.

James,
I'll tell you what I'm tired of, thats people assuming that because you vote republican or claim to be a conservative you must be in bed with limbaugh. He doesn't represent me, even though I agree with 50% of what he says, but he has a right to voice his opinion. What needs to be written about is when will the democrats quit blaming Bush and start being accountable for their own actions or better yet lack of action. The rate obamas going he won't beat hilary in 2012 for the partys nomination.

Hey, champ. Punctuation can be your friend. Give it a shot... Then get on some meds.

Hey Jeff- try making a relative comment instead of being "Comments Editor - in - chief." It's the comments section...typos are expected.

Well, I don't have much to say on the meat of this discussion _ I generally avoid Limbaugh and the other pundits - but I will say that punctuation is relative. Not to be a "comments editor" or anything, but it is possible to edit comments at AllVoices, and just because Write4Life may expect typos, that doesn't mean the rest of us do.

Not that I'm getting all grammargangsta on y'all or anything, I'm just sayin' maybe punctuation counts, LOL.

What Ross1776 is talking about is that the Democratic and the Republican parties split in the 1850's after the Whig party collapsed and died. Ross1776 only sees things through those time machine goggles that he wears and sees the Democratic-Republican party fighting against the Federalists who are in power in 1776. Anyway, Sen. Graham is saying this stuff because he may throw his hat into the GOP candidacy ring, which would be laughable since he resides in South Carolina. Gov. Pawlenty may be the guy that may revive the GOP.

That's just silly Puditty to comment on a person's proper use of a comma, or anything misspelled...when the issue is politics and not whether or not we should have term paper writing in high school.

or let me prephrase...

Thats just sily punditty too commebnt on a perxons propper use of the comam or anything mispelled when the issue is politics and not weather we should stil teach term papper writting taught in hish scool/

:) Have a great day!

Hi pollard
Limbaugh Beck or any of the rest do not speak for all Republicans and no one I know would think that. I do not like Reid and Pelosi either nor do I know anyone they speak for. That said, Limbaugh and Beck are full of cow dung and there are many who but their crap and I refuse to believe they make a living selling it or that it's sale has not been stopped before it poisons the entire country!
Posted By jmsjoin James Joiner | 4 months ago
Maryanne always refreshing! You are all right! Myself I have made every mistake possible and I know I will make more. There are some that do but I would never criticize another I just want to hear from them and can figure things out!
Posted By pollard pollard | 4 months ago
James,
If you dislike Reid or Pelosi, why do you defend their party so fervently? Limbaugh,Beck are talking heads! I don't know if you vote dem or repub, what about those who voted for obama and couldn't tell you who the vp was or anything else, are their minds not poisoned?

Jeff, thank you so much! Your true colors show, when you disagree with someone's opinion, you put them down. Way to go!
Posted By jmsjoin James Joiner | 4 months ago
Hi Pollard
It is not that I defend the party because I absolutely could care less about party's or Politics. I only want to see the right thing done period. If that falls in favor of the Dems so be it. Let the chips fall where they may!

I think there's a lot og confusion here. When I talk about Republicans, I'm not talking about the common folk like Pollard or the brainwashed folks like the guy with the liberty bell. I know James well enough to know that he isn't either. However, when the leaders accept and welcome the actions of the wing-nuts and allow the wing-nuts to dictate their policy, we rightly consider that wing-nuttery to be the party's position.
