CONTEST DETAILS For 4 weeks we will be holding an eco-trivia gaming tournament around the Earthkeepers Hero: Mission Possible Facebook game. The first place winner that earns the most points and is able to unseat our reigning Earthkeeper Hero Champion, Greena Garbo, will be awarded a cash prize of $1000 for themselves and $500 for the environmental non-profit of their choice. Greena Garbo herself can win this tournament, so it will be an exciting test of eco-knowledge! When: September 21 – October 16 at 5:00PM EDT
HOW TO GET STARTED Step 1: Download the Earthkeepers Hero: Mission Possible Facebook application Step 2: Register to join the Timberland Earthkeeper movement and unlock member’s-only game missions Step 3: Begin playing! PRIZE DETAILS First Place Winner – The player with the most points at the close of contest (5:00PM EDT on October 16) will win $1000 for themselves and $500 for the environmental non-profit of their choice (must be a 501(c)3 organization). Second Place winner – The player with the second highest score at the close of contest (5:00PM EDT on October 16) will win $350 Third Place winner – The player with the third highest score at the close of contest (5:00PM EDT on October 16) winner will win $150. Note: Each prize winner must have a minimum of 1,000,000 points and 5 Backers in the game to be eligible to win. ELIGIBILITY To be eligible for any of the prizes, each player must have a minimum of 1,000,000 points and 5 Backers within the Earthkeepers Hero: Mission Possible Facebook game, and have registered for the Timberland Earthkeeper movement. Without registering, we will have no way of identifying the winner in order to award a prize. For the first prize winner, their environmental non-profit award recipient must be a 501(c)3 organization. The winner of the $1000 prize will need to fill out a W-9 form for tax purpose (not required for other prizes).
