This 26-year old burglar could not resist the temptation to log on to Facebook when he entered a flat with the intention of carting away goods that could be readily disposed off to earn some cash – that was his undoing. He must have never expected to be let down like the way he was. He packed the jewelry and got so carried away that he forgot to log out from Facebook. When the owner found the computer running, he discovered that there had been an intruder – and, the intruder had left behind a trail as wide as the Great Wall of China that led to his arrest. He must have been a novice at the job. All criminals know that leaving a trail is as good as suicide – they have to be cautious not to leave behind any telltale clues that could be traced back to them or to keep alive any witness to a murder or kidnapping.
