For generations the lovable furry Muppet's who call Sesame Street home have been entertaining and educating young children all over the world. In November The Children's Television Workshop will launch its fortieth season of Sesame Street.
To commemorate the event the First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama will make a visit to Sesame Street. Earlier this year the First Lady broke ground for a garden on the White House lawn. The 1,00 square foot garden will produce fruits and vegetables which will be used in the White House kitchen. On her visit to see the Sesame Street Muppets the First Lady will discuss growing a garden and eating healthy foods. Telling the Muppets that all the seeds need to grow is water, sun, and soil. And not only will the vegetable make grow up to be strong but they also tastes good she says.
Sesame Street opens a new season on November 10.
