Back in 1965 a young Paul McCartney along with his band mates played Shea Stadium in New York city, the home of the baseball team the New York Mets. forty-four years later Sir Paul played the first concert in the new home of the New York Mets Citi Field which is located across the street from the old Shea Stadium (which is now a parking lot for the new stadium).
Sir Paul said that this time around the concerts were more exciting since this time the fans could hear them. The Beatles young female fans were known for screaming the entire concert drowning out the mop top's musical musings.
Sir Paul played three shows at Citi Field back in July. In November a two CD and one DVD set of the live shows. A deluxe edition of the package will also be offered which will include an extra DVD of Sir Paul at the Ed Sullivan Theatre.
