The death toll of Sumatra earthquake rise to 1,117 dead, and more than 125,000 homes damages.

The dead toll cause by the powerful 7.6 magnitude earthquake, which struck off the city of Padang and Pariaman regencies in West Sumatra island until today, Friday, October 16, 2009, rise to 1,117 people dead and more than 125,000 damages.

The dead toll cause by the powerful 7.6 magnitude earthquake, which struck off the city of Padang and Pariaman regencies in West Sumatra island on Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at 17.16 local times, rise to more than 467 people are confirmed dead and more than 1,421 seriously injured , 376 deaths occurred in Padang, the capital of West Sumatra province. Pasaman district accounted for 75 deaths and more than 100 peoples still missing and more than 500 building, houses and hotels were burn and collapsed. Thousands of people are trapped in the rubble of buildings. the other dead were from three other districts in Wednesday's 7.6 magnitude quake.

Meanwhile, another earthquake, this one a 6.8 magnitude, rocked Indonesia Thursday at 8:52 a.m. local time

Secretary of West Sumatra province disaster agencies Ade Edward in city of Padang, West Sumatra on today confirm that at least 1,117 peoples were dead cause by the earthquake. ''We still trying to help thousands of peoples whose still stayog outside their homes,''. Edward added.

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on his fuel Airplane destination in Chubu International Airport, Nagoya , Japan has a conversation telephone call to Indonesian Vice President Muhammad Jusuf Kalla. Kalla give a report to the President about the Sumatra earthquake, and told the President that he give the order to 7 minister to fly to Sumatra on Thursday morning, and send two Military Hercules air transport to bring the Minister and other emergency aid equipment and food and medicines.

''Because the earthquake are too powerful, similar to the Yogyakarta Earthquake, we declare two months emergencies day for Indonesia to restore the cause of earthquake,'' said Muhammad Jusuf Kalla on the Press Conference, after he lead the emergencies cabinet meeting in his official residential houses in Jakarta on Wednesday.

The search and rescue teams and other volunteer are difficult to help and evacuate the victims, because the rain fall were too heavy on Wednesday night, and most of the electricity supply in Padang and Pariaman regencies are also turn off.
