Indian Space Research Center (ISRO) has said that the information collected by Chandrayaan -1 is the evidence of water presence on the moon, as well as water availability is more than the expected.
U.S. space agency (Nasa) has confirmed the evidence of water on the moon.
As per my point of view the discovery of evidence of water on the moon,is the landmark.
ISRO Chairman G. Madhavan Nair expressed the hope that the use of water found on the moon is possible.
In a press conference in Bangalore, he said the Chandrayaan -1 mission was 110% successful , though earlier he had said that the campaign has achieved its 95% objectives.
"As an Indian ,I have proud that our Chandrayaan found the water on the moon, which is most important scientific work."
Now I want congratulate to ISRO and thankful to him for this discovery.
Now the perception is violeted, that the moon is dry.
Although the water on the moon is in the shape of the rocks and mineral salts.
Earlier,Chandrayaan was launched from the Sriharikota on October 2008 .
A total of 11 scientific instruments were used on Chandrayaan including six were of foreign agencies .
The rest of the five tools that ISRO had prepared by Indians.
Chandrayaan -1also had sent photos. But in August 2009, Chandrayaan was disconnected from the control panel and it every thing ended with this mission.
Chandrayaan spent 312 days in orbit around the Moon and sent large amounts of data.
After the Chandrayaan launching,India is became most selected one in select countries ,which countries have already sent their vehicles on the moon.
