“Going Rogue: An American Life” is the title of Sarah Palin’s memoirs, coming out way ahead of schedule. HarperCollins, the publisher of the book is in high spirits. Originally dated to release in Spring of 2010, is now complete and ready to fill up Palin’s pockets starting November 17, 2009.
The book, rumored to be more than 400 pages, has been rumored about since the end of her attempt at calling the White House home. Her royal rogueness’s once to be son-in-law, Levi Johnston, had also hinted at the book. Johnston even said that Palin’s pre-mature but highly welcomed retirement from public service, to pursue the battle for the sidelines, might have been for the very purpose of capitalizing from her new found fame.
In May of this year Palin herself confirmed the rumors, of her memoirs.
Just recently the former governor of Alaska gave a paid, banned to the press, speech in communist China. Her reasons for banning the press? Because she did not want to change her speech.
Way to defend the American flaming torch, free speech, in the communist country Sarah.
The speech is rumored to have made Palin anywhere from $250,000 to $300,000 for that one speech.
HarperCollins said “Going Rogue: An American Life” has an initial print run of 1.5 million books, the same amount as the late Senator Edward Kennedy's just-released memoirs.
Rogue
Sarah Palin was criticized as a rogue by the McCain campaign during the presidential election last year for going “mavericky”. She has caused the ruin of the careers of two Alaskans public servants using the term “rogue”.
Palin had labeled Mike Wooten, her former brother-in-law, a rogue cop. Mike Wooten has been stuck behind a desk since her accusation. His safety could not be insured on the street because then governor Palin had said that she did not feel safe with Wooten on the street.
Walt Monegan, an ex-marine and a now former Public Safety Commissioner thanks to Palin, was labeled a rogue for wanting to get more money for sexual assault victims in Alaska. He was also denounced as a rogue for not wanting to fire Wooten. Alaskans saw Monegan as a “model” Commissioner.
There was an outrage in Alaska over Palin’s “rogue” accusations and “troopergate”. Now her book is capitalizing on that outrage.
