Ondoy in EDA

I was lucky to have survived this disaster, I have have walked more than 5 kilometers just to be be home, my experience about this is really unforgettabel but that is nothing compared to other people who havelost their love ones due to thyphoon Ondoy, soe they called it Ketsana but Pilippine news mentioned that it is Ondoy.

I get home the next day, It was 5:00am Sunday morning when I finally get home and I checked my legs and tend to my wounds cause by this disaster.

No electrical power until the next day and when the power gets back I immediately turn on the television right away. I have watched the news. many families lost their homes, lost everything that they have, a lot of stabishment were affected, worst of all more than 140 people have been declared dead due to this disaster.

Their are still families needed asssitance to get out of their homes for their area is still flooded, they have clostes to wear, no foods to eat and some of their family member is still missing.

Local celbrities and politicians make their way to help people especially in most affected areas like Rizal, Marikina and Pasig City. I live in Valenzuela area and our my place is well known to affected whenever there is storm or typhoon, there are also rescuer in my place but they were not able to reached the bridge when I am standing for the water current is too heaven to manuever.

GMA Kapuso foundation and ABS-CBN Kapamilya Foundation is seeking gathering any kind of donation for the people, any form of help will be highly needed to those who is in need.

The thing that bothers me a lot is the number of people who died in this disaster, 140 people that is a big number, children and adult combned, there is also a great number of children (todler and infant) being sicked and they need immediate doctor attentionbefore their conditions gets any worst than already is.

Like what they have said, this is not the time to worry about your enemies, we need to help one another, saving lives and what Filipino called bayanihan (act of heroism to help the nation/town and people).

I know that what i hve shared is not enough, i just to express my feeling and few words about this disaster for people of the world to know.
