tragic and a horrible act of violence! savages is what they are, can you even consider them as humans?

It's obvious that this was the furthest thing from rational, but it comes to a point where people need to know what they were doing... Was there any real reason for this?

There was two gangs clashing and he got in the middle. It is unclear whether he walked through it, or was just standing buy when the chaos caught him.

Where are the morals in society today?

This is just sick and sad. However, the streets in Chicago have progressively gotten worse over the years.

Try living in prison like conditions all your life. No hope. No jobs. No release for anger. Day in and day out. Ghetto life is not life. Its nothing more than surviving. In a lot of ways its like living in a jungle where only the strong survive. This breeds anger. It kills respect for life. And to think this is all planned.

"The government is running a project so we live in the projects."

Just some more evidence of the failure and brutality of Liberal thinkers and the Great Society programs left to us by the idiot left. Welfare made the poor father irrelevant and now we are forever recreating generations of fatherless young punks and the cycle goes over and over again. Natuarlly, the Left never takes responsibility for it nor the punks they created. Nope they will blame in on not enough money being spent on these punks. An estimated 60 trillion dollars spent on the Great Society programs of the left over the last 45 years and this is what we have to show for it.

I cannot feel badly for those who committed this horrible and monstrous crime against this boy. He did nothing more than try, learn, and refuse to be a part of the problem.

For this he lost his young and valuable life.

Whoever did this is not a person, does not deserve sympathy, and should be taken someplace to be fixed and left to learn from their heinous crimes! I hope they all get caught.

The murderers do not deserve any sympathy. They knew what they were doing. They did not care. Feeling macho was more important to them than Derrion's life. He was an honor student. They were thugs.

They've been charged with murder. And with this video, they will be convicted. Good.

What proof, what insight, what anything do you have that says these are products of the welfare state?

I suspect that Chicago is statistically very similar to New York City. According to the City Journal of New York.

The FBI stopped reporting violent crime by race in the early 80's do to political correctness. This is not to say that blacks are the only ones who commit crimes there is much crime committed by all US residents but there is only 100% in 100% and blacks in America are disproportionate in their participation in violent crimes vs. other races. I am sure amalgam80 will now call me a racist for pointing statistical facts. Over 72 percent of black family households have no male figure in the home. You mean even though race has nothing to do with why people commit crimes or what kind of crimes they commit, there are more blacks in prison than whites? And more hispanics too? Even though they are a minority in the country? And even though we know more white men commit corporate crimes than black men? And that drug use is rampant regardless of race? And ivy league college folk also commit crimes ranging from rape, bar fights to drug dealing and fraud, they never really ever get caught? And the same goes for friends of cops and those that can afford lawyers?

Even though everyone is just as likely to commit a violent crime as the next man, more blacks and hispanics end up getting convicted? You mean a lot of blacks are coerced? You mean no one trusts a black man's word over a white man's in a court? You mean cops plant evidence on people? You mean cops are extra violent with people of color and that if a person of color was struggling his is more likey to be charged with assault and a white person?


The whole point of this post was that those stats you posted mean a different thing to me than to you. So sorry, this didn't change my mind about you. I still think you don't have a way to tell if teh people in the video were created because of welfare and single mothers.

Uh Yeah you don't have to tell me that more blacks get arrested than whites for rape, murder, etc. etc. etc...More blacks get arrested than white for a lot of stuff. No big suprise. yeah I know more hispanics get arrested than white people too.


Now go and do the research for how all this black crime has to do with the welfare state. Cause my questions were this:

"What makes you think they were welfare recipients? What makes you think they are fatherless?"

"What proof, what insight, what anything do you have that says these are products of the welfare state?"

And while you are reseaching all that, go find out how many black people to white people are and live in slums? What the jobless ratio is, what the literacy rates are, and the ratios of black men prison sentences to white men prison sentences for the same or similar crime.

Also if there's a way look up how many black men are in prison that were wrongfully accuse, forced to give false confessions or pleaded guilty to get a shorter sentence even though he was innocent.

I wonder how many black men are in prison that were falsely accused of doing something because someone lied to the police.

And if you're doing that, try to find out in what areas gangs are predominent and if those are the same areas where there is a higher ratio of blacks and hispanics, then where there are less people of color, you know urban vs rural. Also try to find out if the KKK, the Neo-Nazis and other white supremist groups are considered gangs or terrorist organization. I don't know the answer to that, would like to know.

But first answer the welfare questions.

The urban areas are filled with drugs. The US wants to keep drugs in the urban areas. Look at the only reason the NATO Alliance is in Afghanistan: they don't want the Taliban to regain power and to stop them from growing poppy fields which are processed into drugs and they are shipped off into the inner cities.
