The popular sit-com "Friends" went off the air in 2004 after 10 years of being on the air.

The six co-stars of the show - Jennifer AnistonJennifer Aniston, Courteney CoxCourteney Cox, Lisa KudrowLisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlancMatt LeBlanc, Matthew PerryMatthew Perry, and David SchwimmerDavid Schwimmer have all agreed to return for a motion picture version of the show. "Friends" creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman will also be involved in the project. The movie is scheduled to hit theatres sometime in the summer of 2011.

The "Friends" movie is the latest of the movies who have made the jump from the television to the theatre following "Sex and the City".
