JOHN JOSEPH SAYS, it is always a good idea to keep a diary, it certainly is if you want to be a writer, keeping a day to day diary is the start for lot of people. JOHN JOSEPH used to buy his diary each year direct from the printer. He would send a cheque to the printer with an order for a diary and he would have the diary within two weeks time. One year he did that but it took longer than usual before it came.
JOHN JOSEPH was beginning to think that the publisher ran out of stock because it took one month plus since he sent his payment. One day he came home after visiting someone and what did he see on the doorstep of his house? It was the diary just delivered by the parcel delivery from the Post Office. The date on the package was a month before, at the time the Australian Post Office engaged courier vans to do package deliveries.
They were somewhat slow at first but now, they deliver on time every day. Only letters are delivered by a single postman with a bicycle and a bag on his shoulder, but all packages whether big or small are delivered door to door by the Postal Courier Van which should also be introduced in the Philippines because of bigger economy. It will also help if we are ever to see Philippines 2,000.

DISCUSSING RECYCLING.
Miron was discussing the Recycling of waste paper with two boys from his class.
The question was what to do with all the wastepaper cluttering up the garbage cans, that included the old exercise books after each semester. Both the other students said that we
should clean out the storage rooms in school and make a big bonfire with it. Miron disputed that, there's lot of good writing paper there he explained, we should be able to use it in other ways.
A teacher walked by, he heard the discussion and said, utter trash Miron Lovric, you are talking lot of rubbish. After class was finished for the day, Miron approached the particular teacher who was his teacher by the way and said, O Sir, could I have some scribble paper please? Sure he said, those old exercise books in there, take as many as you want.
Miron took two of them, thanked him for it and went to the boarding house, that night was the letter writing night. Students in his dorm wanted to write to their parents, that also included the two boys who disputed the idea on recycling. Miron gave paper to them and said, this is the paper that both of you wanted to burn. Thank you very much they said, you are a life saver. Miron believes in recycling, so REDUCE ON WASTE, REUSE IF YOU CAN, AND RECYCLE YOUR WASTEPAPER in whatever way it is possible or acceptable in your country or community.
