Manny Ramirez Out With Sore Left Hamstring

With playoff hopes only a week away Joe Torre says he isn't going to worry until the week of playoffs. He, Ramirez, can be used as a pinch hitter if running the bases becomes a problem.

Casey Blake returned to Los Angeles to be treated for the same problem.

Ronnie Belliard injured his groin while running bases in the ninth on Sunday.

It was the 6th Monday Blake has sat out with the lingering injury.

One of the side effects of not using steroids anymore is muscle deterioration.
