Determination, patience and courage are the only things needed to improve any situation. Just don't give up trying to do what you really want to do. Where there is love and inspiration, I don't think you can go wrong; that really inspires me to do what I want and what I love.

High school days, hmmmm… I think the best days of our teenage years… I’m proud to say that I fulfill all the things that a teenager like me, wanted to do on her high school years.

Well of course, it doesn’t mean that I didn’t take my studies seriously, it’s just that I manage to balance my studies to what I want and what I love to do as always. On school days, there are extra curricular activities that can enhance and help you developed your skills. One of those things is dancing, the one I totally enjoyed doing.

On my four years in school, I was able to join a dance group for two years, which competes every cultural day. On my third year level, my group got the first prize. And for that, it made my life in high school days more meaningful and exciting. I really enjoyed the feeling of being supported by my friends and especially by my family that is why I decided to join again.

For the last dance competition on my forth year level, we only got the second place. Second placer is not that bad, but of course, getting the first place really means a lot to me, and to my group mates. We knew that we do everything to perform good on that day, and we give our very best to make our family, friends and classmates enjoy the competition.

As the day ends, I realize that winning the first place was my second goal for this activity. Honestly, winning the competition is all that matter in every game. But for me, being one of those people who represented my year level to compete for that activity is already a BIG win. I love dancing, I love performing in front of people who really believes in my talent and to show them what I can do more.

Well, on the other hand, some teachers doesn’t understand why some students who joined extra activities like this can’t managed to balance their studies from what they are doing. I think doing what you want means knowing all the consequences that you have to face when choosing something that requires responsibilities.

I, myself assures that dancing wouldn’t affect my studies. I make sure that I have super extra time on studying my lesson. I love dancing but my priority in life was to finish my studies, and to always make my family happy and proud of me. I respect the opinion of people close to me like my family. What they think of me matters the most.

So guys always do what you want, but you have to make sure that everything you do is good and can make you happy. And when the time comes that you can’t do it anymore, you won’t regret the time that god has given us to enjoy, share our lives with others, and giving us the power to choose what we want in life. And mostly, we have to realize that life keeps on getting better and life indeed is a matter of choice, not of destiny.
