Four time Grammy Award winning classical pianist Alicia de Larroche died Friday in Barcelona at the age of 86.

De Larroche was known for her performances of Spansih coposers.

Although only four feet seven inches de Larrocha was a powerhouse at the piano first appearing on stage at the age of six and for nearly 80 years she entertained audiences around the world with her musical ability. De Larroche once said that playing Spanish music was very very hard because it had to be played with the right rhythm.
