Michael Savage

Conservative Talk radio star Michael Savage, of the Savage Nation has a audience of 8 million listerners and is currently banned from the United Kingdom strictly by his words. Freedom of Speech is under attack and yet no other conservative talk show such as Rush Limbaugh will even mention this unjust act.

Michael is the black sheep of the business and does not play nice but tells like it is which builds his fan base. I will admit, when I first listened to him, I found him to be offensive and rude to his callers by being very short. He states a lot of things I disagree with but he also brings a lot of sense to a hetic world around us. He is the type of person you either love or hate.

One day, my brother came up to me and challenge me to listen to him for 8 weeks with an open mind and see if my views on the world especially with matters to social and political issues would change. "Why? Why, would I listen to him so I could be brainwashed I asked."

So with a open mind, I listen to him with matters of our government, radical Islam extremists, illegal aliens, and other social issues that perked my interests. After 8 weeks, I became a dedicated listener and now agree with most of his rants. His predications from past shows have come to light in a frightening matter by simply putting the missing pieces of the puzzle together and reading in between the lines at what is being spoon fed to the American people by the liberal media.

Michael in my views is the one true journalist left in America by reporting the news as it is, elimiating the weeds to get to the garden. So I am doing what my brother did and asking, you the reader to take the Michael Savage Challenge and let's take America back. Write your congressman, use your freedom of speech while we still have it and let your voice be heard on issues that concern you!

I do not work for Michael Savage and it is not spam. Are you a American citizen? Do you find it odd that liberal and conservativew radio and television networks have never once cover why the nation's most listened to radio talk show host is banned from entering the UK. His radio show is not broadcast there and Michael Savage is being put on this banned list along with known murderers and terrorists. Something is admist with this. Freedom of Speech and censorship is being tested and I find it disturbing that noone is noticing this. Thanks for reading my article.

why has he been banned?

"Do you find it odd that liberal and conservativew radio and television networks have never once cover why the nation's most listened to radio talk show host is banned from entering the UK."

Um...here are links to stories talking about him being banned.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/30575687/

This is what msnbc said as to why Savage has been banned:

"The [ban]list includes popular American talk-radio host Michael Savage, who has called the Muslim holy book, the Quran, a "book of hate." Savage also has enraged parents of children with autism by saying in most cases it's "a brat who hasn't been told to cut the act out.""

This kind of talk is considered hate speech in England. And they do not support hate speech.

One of those links is to msnbc, a liberal television network. Another is to NPR, a public radio station.

Thank you for pointing out those links on this story. You miss my point though and I have to chalk that up to my writing because I did not convey my message clearly. You are correct we have no business telling the UK what they deem as hate speech. I think it is not right putting him in the same catgory as the people on this list. He has never once said to commit voilence against anyone. As far as his quotes you mentioned he made, does that consist of hate speech? I think we need to think outside of the box on this matter. This is not a Michael Savage issue. Freedom of Speech is being tested. If this could be done in the UK, why not the US? There is more to this story on the surface and I think Savage is better equipped then I to explain it. I encourage you to call his show or at least listen to him. What do you have to lose except your time. His methods of communication are not sugar coated but he does make his point. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and comment on it.

The last I check, you could not chop someone's head off with words. That is comparing apples to oranges to put him in the same catagory. Stick and stones.... Why is the KKK not banned from the UK? Hmmmm?

Cause the KKK is not the name on the passport.

Hey, that's England. As you know I don't live there. I live here and fully support people's right to be as ignorant as they want, just as long as it does affect me. And Savage does not hurt me in any way, directly.

But again, who are you and him to tell England what to do with their country? They got their laws. We got our own.

The U.S. banned people with HIV from coming into the U.S. up until early July or late June. It eventually got turned over when a British citizen sued to end the law. The law violated other laws. THe no people with HIV law was in the books for over two decades.

Let Savage fight it. If he has a case he can get it turned over. That's how it's done.

Savage is on the list because he is being accused of hate speech. There are others on the list accused of the same thing that is accused of Savage.

"Abdullah Qadri Al Ahdal
Preacher. Considered to be engaging in unacceptable behaviour by seeking to foment, justify or glorify terrorist violence in furtherance of particular beliefs and fostering hatred which might lead to inter-community violence.

Yunis Al Astal
Preacher. Considered to be engaging in unacceptable behaviour by seeking to foment, justify or glorify terrorist violence in furtherance of particular beliefs and to provoke others to terrorist acts.

Stephen Donald Black
Set up Stormfront, a racist website. Considered to be engaging in unacceptable behaviour by promoting serious criminal activity and fostering hatred, which might lead to inter-community violence in the United Kingdom.

Wadgy Abd El Hamied Mohamed Ghoneim
A prolific speaker and writer. Considered to be engaging in unacceptable behaviour by seeking to foment, justify or glory terrorist violence in furtherance of particular beliefs and to provoke others to commit terrorist acts.

Eric Gliebe
Has made web-radio broadcasts in which he vilifies certain ethnic groups and encourages the download and distribution of provocative racist leaflets and posters. Considered to be engaging in unacceptable behaviour by justifying terrorist violence, provoking others to commit serious crime and fostering racial hatred.

Safwat Hijazi
Television preacher. Considered to be engaging in unacceptable behaviour by glorifying terrorist violence.

Nasr Javed
Considered to be engaging in unacceptable behaviour by seeking to foment, justify or glorify terrorist violence in furtherance of particular beliefs.

Abdul Ali Musa
Considered to be engaging in unacceptable behaviour by fomenting and glorifying terrorist violence in furtherance of his particular beliefs and seeking to provoke others to terrorist acts.

Fred Waldron Phelps Snr and Shirley Phelps-Roper
Pastor and leading spokesperson of Westboro Baptist Church. Considered to be engaging in unacceptable behaviour by fostering hatred which might lead to inter-community violence in the United Kingdom.

Amir Siddique
Preacher. Considered to be engaging in unacceptable behaviour by fomenting terrorist violence in furtherance of particular beliefs.

Michael Alan Weiner (also known as Michael Savage)
Controversial daily radio host. Considered to be engaging in unacceptable behaviour by seeking to provoke others to serious criminal acts and fostering hatred which might lead to inter-community violence."

Those were all the people on the list that aren't murders, or directly involved in violence. Only the names of 16 were released. There were a total of 22. The six whose names were not released were done so for security reasons.

Oh and Savage is the third most listened to person on talk radio, but that's besides the point.
