Indo-Pak foreign secretaries hold ‘useful exchange of views’

NEW YORK: The foreign secretaries of Pakistan and India had “useful exchange of views” on Saturday, ahead of an important meeting between foreign ministers of the two countries today (Sunday). “We had a useful exchange of views,” Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupoma Rao told reporters after meeting with her Pakistani counterpart Salman Bashir. The meeting lasted for more than two hours. To a question, the Pakistani foreign secretary said the talks focused on the foreign ministers’ meeting today. “Our focus was on today’s meeting,” Bashir said. app
