Michelle vs. Carla

Michelle Obama once again had a fashion tête à tête with Carla Bruni-Sarkozy on her second major visit to France. The American and French First Ladies both looked radiant in white, attending a D-Day Ceremony marking the 65th anniversary of the June 6, 1944 allied landings in Normandy, northwestern France. Obama wore a Michael Kors coat over a white sheath by Narciso Rodriguez, while Bruni-Sarkozy chose an off-white frock by Dior, but arrived with a black coat. Consistently a fan of belts, Obama chose a wide silver Givenchy belt to cinch both her dress and coat, while Bruni-Sarkozy's dress included a thin black belt around her waist. They both opted for low heels, but Obama chose a silver strappy sandal, while Bruni-Sarkozy chose a more traditional pump. The First Ladies had their first official meeting in Strasbourg, France in early April during the Obama's first trip to Europe for the NATO summit. Michelle Obama enjoyed a day of sightseeing in Paris Friday with her daughters before meeting up with her husband Barack Obama, who gave a speech at the ceremony in Caen, France. Tell us which First Lady you think was better dressed .
