There is a video of an arrest being made of a G-20 protester. It was taken near “Baum Ave & S Millvale Ave” in Pittsburgh.

The top 20 economic powers are meeting in Pittsburgh, the demonstrations and protests were in response to the meeting.

The video shows demonstrators marching “through Pittsburgh without a permit, and police tactics effectively split up the group after about 45 minutes of marching. In the end only about 26 arrests were made,” writes the person who put up the video.

The protests became violent, some storefronts were destroyed. Police dispensed tear gas and sprayed pepper spray to disburse the crowds.

"The protests became violent, some storefronts were destroyed. Police dispensed tear gas and sprayed pepper spray to disburse the crowds."

from everything i have read it went this way - police dispensed tear gas and sprayed pepper spray to disburse the crowds THEN the protest became violent

Those where this occurred and the damages done to local businesses earlier reported were actually miles from the site, and actually most likely "professional" protestors and actors - that much is clearly evident - planted in order to attempt to scare the masses from any such future exercise of their civil rights on such a heinous violation on our Constitution that this meeting engenders.

Nothing more than a "global" Board of Directors meeting, and in your face move by Obama.

The reports I read said that protestors started throwing and rolling garbage can lids at the police officers. Among other things. But the garabe can lids were the thing I read about at quite a few news outlets.

But you may be correct, maybe the protesters were provoked. Either way I wasn't trying to blame one side or the other, I was just trying to summarize what led to the footage in the video.

Either way the protests became violent, which led to this pretty scary footage.

Man that was just disgraceful. That guy was handled like a package. They dragged him all across the floor with his back pack on and everything. Then they threw him in the vehicle head first. It was like a kidnapping or something. Rough treatment right there. You always hate to see protests turn violent. I don't know who's to blame here, but instances like these serve as distractions that take focus away from the main cause.

What a spin? Another government blogger? Since I love the words 'without a permit," as if in this country the founders meant that for Americans to exercise their fundamental rights needed "approval" of the government to begin with.

And the fact that this video has been widely circulated must mean that again the ploy is being used to attempt to control the masses in propagadizing what occurred actually. Since those that were involved in any of the damages that occurred were actually miles from the actual location of the meeting, which you failed to mention, and thus most likely "professional" protestors for the government propaganda and spins in order to somewhow make those protestors that were justifiably protesting this meeting of the Global Board of Directors for World Inc., now and Washington's illegally entering into such a "venture" to begin with look bad for the global audience, as you have clearly now done also.

Another terrorism move on the part of the globalists in this country, and also just goes to show the lengths they will go to continue their desecration of everything this country stands for, and those founders gave their very lives and sacred honors to establish and protect.

Just more of the fascists actually garbage.

Ross, I didn't talk about a lot of things. I didn't want to. I just wanted to give a little bit of information about the protests and post the video. I don't need to tell people what to think about cocerning what they see in the video, I think there is a natural dislike about what is on the video.

"government blogger" are you kidding me. The "without a permit" is the reason the police gave for what it did. That is the excuse they give to do what they did, so I wrote it.

If you think I support this kind of thing than you really, really don't know where I stand politically. If I was a "government blogger" I wouldn't be the one posting this video here. Someone elso would have done it.

Could be Delta Force they held manuevers in Denver with helicopters and all right before the Democratic National Convention last year. They said it had nothing to do with that. When I asked a cop I know who was involved in the security for the convention he wouldn't say if Delta Force was there. Interesting. I wonder if this guy was a terror suspect.
  • Reply By caveatlector caveatlector | 2 months ago
The manuevers had nothing to do with the DNC in Denver? Okay, just another coincidence. But it's very disturbing to watch this video.
