An 8.7 kilograms newborn baby

Jakarta : Indonesia | about 1 month ago
Views: 188

A Sumatran mother gave birth to a baby that weighed a record 8.7 kilograms. The gynecologist performed a Caesarian operation to bring the baby out of its mother’s womb. The boy is in a good and healthy condition and has a good appetite; its cry is equally loud. The large size is attributed by doctors to the diabetic condition of the mother. A baby weighing 6.9 kilograms was born in Indonesia in 2007 but the Guinness record is held by a Canadian mother. She gave birth to a baby in 1879 – it weighed 10.8 kilograms but died shortly after birth.
