Yes, there is water on the Moon

Los Angeles : CA : USA | 2 months ago

There are happy faces in NASA and ISRO and excited tour operators have already begun to chalk up programs for visit to the Moon. There is water on the Moon, water that supports life forms. Earthlings can now expect to take off on Lunar adventures. The data received by the probes of NASA that had been sent in the Chandrayaan-I, has been analyzed by the teams from Brown University, University of Maryland and US Geographical Survey and evidence has now been received that signature of the OH (Oxygen-Hydrogen) bond has been detected at locations that usually experience very hot day temperatures. The levels were naturally higher n the Polar Regions.

That's an incredible discovery. What's next? Can they prove that there is or was life on the moon? That would be a MAJOR breakthrough. Let's see what this leads to.

exactly mona - now we have to set up colonies there ... again there would be the perennial cold war between the americans and the russians with the european communities trying to bag a share of the moon while the chinese and the japanese would try equally hard to get a toehold ... it would be a crowded world up there...

Since it is Indian spaceship Chandrayaan that detected water on moon for the first time ever, India should claim patent for moon water.

I wonder how moonwater tastes
Posted By mllovric mllovric | 2 months ago
How should any water taste, even moonwater? It should taste fresh like water does. We were taught in school that if anybody jumps a mile on the moon, the gravity would automatically turn him into a Superman. 25/9/2009.
Posted By prabirghose prabirghose | 2 months ago
mcdohl1 - it would be sweet, the sweet taste of success ...

mllovric - yes, the force of gravity up there does make one jump up to grat heights ... like the 'flubber soled' shoes of the 'absent minded professor'...

Posted By createsss createsss | 2 months ago
And do we have to really believe Neil Armstrong had indeed walked on the surface of moon? Then how did he not find any water? I tell ya that was more likely a big American lie.

If there is no gravity at the moon at all (as they say so) is it possible to find water there...!
