Banning same sex marrige to save marriages is too easy, let's ban divorce too!

John Marcotte is standing up for the religious conviction that divorce should be banned. He is also against shellfish and I believe wearing clothes of two different fabrics. Not only is he against it, he wants the government to stand by these biblical beliefs and back them up with the force of law. His imitative in California if passed would ban divorce in order to protect marriage. This makes sense because if anywhere marriage is under threat, it is from divorces.

Forget same sex marriage, that won't end your marriage but you getting divorced sure will. See, it's simple, no divorce equals all marriages last to someone dies, and marriage in California is protected. No gays and lesbians can then tempt you to join one of their same sex marriages with them. What, you say you won't marry someone of the same sex marriage just because it is legal? That's crazy talk and the government has to protect you from any potential sin no matter how silly you might find it.

After all, Mr. Marcotte brings up the excellent point that there is an angry deity that will send you for eternal suffering for getting a divorce. So Tom ArnoldTom Arnold, if you thought being married to Rosanne was bad just you wait when you go to hel...heck, hell will probably be a vacation for you after Rosanne. Never mind. But for the rest of you, you better watch out. The government is obligated to watch over your souls. See, if a deity didn't want us to do this would he have invented government with the power to do so? I think not. So in order to protect marriage not only do we need to ban same sex marriage but we need to ban divorces. Hmmm, any suggestions in order to protect marriages even more? How about when people wed we make them to cross their heart with a cherry on top?

So, what else do we have to do to fight the pink threat? Well, good conservative groups are protesting Ben & Jerry changing a flavor of ice cream from "Chubby Hubby" flavor to "Hubby Hubby." See, changing our ice cream flavors is part of the plot of the gay lobby to change America so we all listen to Elton JohnElton John. Note to those who don't know this, yes Elton John is gay. Sorry to have to inform you. See, God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve and if marriage laws should reflect anything it should be our ability to rhyme.

Lastly there is opposition to ending harassment of gay students in schools because those students are gay or perceived as gay. Keep up the good work Americans for Truth. If we want our schools to be anything it is to be a threatening place for gay 14 year olds who are coming to grips with that they want to date the quarterback. I don't know about you but AFT is a fine organization, don't let those wearing pink triangles and rainbow colors lead you astray!
