Did you know reading Playboy makes you gay?

In a so called "Values Voters" conference, Bill O'Reilly, giving a speech urging the media to cover conservatives , the media were kicked out and banned from covering it! Or that was the supposed topic, it is hard to tell because the media were kicked out and banned! The reason he was given the award was, "media courage." Why did Bill'O not want anyone covering his speech? Did he tell the audience he was just as kooky as some of them but has to hide it in order to pretend to be a "moderate?" I mean, there is irony and there is just a parody of irony. This is the latter.

Here's something I bet you didn't know, viewing porn makes you gay. See, it makes you Rip Taylor gay. It makes you want to move to be a hair dresser in San Francisco gay. No, not viewing gay porn but regular old American porn like Playboy. Yes, yes it does. I know this because an aide to Senator Tom Coburn in the same so called Value Voters summit stated so. I have already in the past examined the "wisdom" of the two senators from the "what's wrong with you" state of Oklahoma. See, according to this man's thinking it turns your sexuality inward and I guess once it does that you want to have sex with a man if you are a man. Are the people in this summit just putting the rest of us on? He went on to say that telling a 11 year old boy that porn makes you gay will stop 11 year old boys from wanting to "read" Playboy or other porn. Hmmm, that should work well. All that you will accomplish is ensure to that 11 year old that you are an idiot when he might have had his doubts at one time. The war on sex among the far right continues!

Some odds and ends from the right. Sean Hannity opposes on his talk show the federal government making student loans direct, saying it is a take over of that industry by the government. Hey Sean, the government was backing the loans before, it makes more sense to just loan the money to the students directly if one is going to guarantee them anyway. If a private lender wants to loan without the guarantee of governmental backing, go ahead. You start that kind of bank Sean with your millions.

Second Sean states that a missile defense system not implemented in eastern Europe won't create any missile shield but President Obama did state support for a different kind of missile system involving among others, the use of ships. Second because of Obama the Russians halted implementing a new range of missile systems along eastern Europe. Lastly Sean we don't need a missile system to protect the Czech republic from Iran! Sheesh, do you listen to what comes out of your mouth?
