There is excitement in NASA and ISRO. It seems the Indian Moon mission Chandrayaan-I has unearthed valuable data with regard to presence of water on the Moon. If water really exists there, life cannot be far behind. The discovery might tempt more missions to the heavenly body. Further details are expected to be revealed only on Thursday – by a joint team of NASA and ISRO in the NASA headquarters at Washington. That day, in all probability, is an auspicious day as per the Indian astrologers. It is reported that the Chandrayaan-I had on board a payload of NASA – Moon Mineralogy Mapper – M3 for short. It was supposed to search for traces of water on the lunar surface. And, from the hush-hush there appears to be something brewing. We have to keep our fingers crossed and wait with bated breath for the sensational news of a major discovery.
