With North Korea and Iran's nuclear exploration taking the front page of most newspapers these days, terrorism and terrorist plots have taken a back seat in the news. However, this past weekend the FBI arrested three men who were believed to be plotting several bomb detonations around the United States. The arrests came in Colorado as well as New York. The three Afghan terrorists names have been revealed and are: Mohammed Wali Zazi, his son and chief suspect Najibullah Zazi and Ahmad Wais Afzali. The men are currently being help captive on charges of lying to federal agents.

Federal investigators found out in their interrogation that Najibullah Zazi attended courses and received in-depth instruction on weapons and explosives at an elite al Qaeda training facility in Pakistan last year. Federal agents also found instructions on specific explosives handling techniques and procedures when they swept the man's computer. However, these allegations are being strongly refuted by the mans lawyer, Arthur Folsom.

While Mr. Zaziwas in federal court administering his not guilty plea, he was seen several times smiling as charges were read off to him as well as blowing kisses to his wife during the hearing. Mr. Zazi's attorney is claiming that FBI officials blew their investigation into the terror plot and are simply usinghis client as a scape goat to cover their own butts. In a case such as this it makes us wonder what kind of sick lawyer would stand up for someone who has substantial evidence pointing towards being guilty. The fact that Najibullah Zaziwas seen acting extremely ignorant or almost proud of the charges being filed against him makes him look even worse. The lawyer along with this monster should be locked away for a long time.

Lawyers are payed to defend people whether they're guilty or innocent. I really can't fault anyone for doing their jobs. Rather I praise them for doing their jobs when its difficult. Still, you're right. There are times when you have to wonder "have you compartmentalized yourself to the extent where this doesn't touch you?"

"An elite al Qaeda training facility?" Al Qaeda has an an ivy league now? What, are students expected to bring explosives, machine guns, and a number 2 pencil? It's ridiculous. How is the world allowing there to be such an institution!? Someone seriously needs to shut it down. Anyway, those are some heavy allegations against him, and if true, this guy is sick. However, he is technically innocent until proven guilty. Under law, he has to go through the court process and he has to have a chance to defend himself. That's where the lawyer comes in. You can't really fault the attorney for doing his job and being part of a legal procedure. Thankfully, they caught these guys before they could do any damage.

Can anyone say 911hoax.com? People are controlled by fear!! I think all this stuff is B.S. ... I think the government (BUSH) STARTED ALL THIS AND STARTED SOMETHING THAT WILL NOT END FOR A LONG TIME.He put our whole country at risk and not many see it or just don't want to believe it not to sure?
People have a right to defend themselves and who can fault them for it?? We started this and they are taking the measures they feel are what is right for them. Gee go figure.

I pose the question on whether or not the United States started this so called war, does fighting violence with violence make it right? Also the United States doesn't target innocent civilians in their attacks! Terrorists always attack innocent people!
