President Asif Ali Zardari has said close coordination and comprehesive dialogue between the two countries can bring about peace and security in the region.

He said this while takling to British foreign secretary David Miliband who called on him in London.
During the meeting they discussed bilateral relations with the two countries, war on terror to curb terrorism, peace and security, and the forthcoming meeting of the friends of democratic Pakistan in New York.
President Zardari said Pakistan looked forward to the FODP summit in New York, that will also be co-chaired by president Obama and Prime Minister Gordon Brown along with himself.
He said Pakistan expected strategic support of the world democracies from the platform of FODP, to overcome its various problems arising out of decades of strife and conflict in the region, as a result of the free world's fight, against the rival ideology.
David Miliband appreciated the progress in the war against terror and in the rehabilitation of the displaced persons.
President Zardari's policy address to the international institute of strategic studies in London on Friday, also came under discussion in the meeting.
About peace and stability in the region, the President said Pakistan believed that regional dialogue and cooperation was the way forward, and that the revival of composite dialogue was in the best interest of the region.
The President also emphasized 'trade, not aid' and the need for allowing access to Pakistani manufacturers, to the markets of European Union countries.

This prime minister sounds like he knows what he is talking about. Hopefully, the idiots in Pakistan do not attempt to assassinate or to overthrow him in some ill-fated coup. Pakistanis, if you want to fight someone, fight the Taliban.
