Outfielder Milton Bradley who has often been very outspoken has been suspended for the rest of the season after treating the media badley.

Jim Hendry the general manager of the Cubs said, "I'm certainly not going to let our great fans become excuses, I'm not going to tolerate [Bradley] not being able to answer questions from the media respectably."

Milton Bradley has been having some issues with his knees and when asked by the press about his medical issues he responded with short snippy answers followed by, "What else you got." Bradley obviously did not want to talk about any injuries he may have.

Apparently this was the last draw for Hendry.

Addressing the media is part of his job, so he should do so respectfully. It's a reasonable expectation. This obviously wasn't worth the consequences. I guess the MLB is more strict about this than the NBA. LeBron James didn't even address the media after the loss to Orlando, yet his penalty was just a fine. Even though it was with bad demeanor, at least Bradley talked to the press. But then again you can't really compare the two incidents. Two different leagues are involved here, and each of them makes their own decisions independently.

Milton Bradley has been nothing but a plague for the Cubs since arriving in Chicago. Signing him to a three year deal was a mjor mistake and if they were smart they would try to trade him in the off season.

Thanks for the update because I had missed this recent outburst since the Cubs have been out of the Division race for the past month. I still don't know why the Cubs signed this guy. He was a DH last year, and being on 7 teams in 10 years definitely qualifies for idiot status. That is why his name is Milton Bradley because his comprehension level is so low, he can only play Milton Bradley games like Chutes 'N Ladders and Candy Land.
