Are the Youths of Today Fighting a Bigger Battle of Surviving in this World with Violence, Poverty..."

Crime and violence in our societies today is of dire importance and concern because there is no where safe for our young people today. Or is there? Churches, of all places are being robbed ( or rather sacrilege) so where else is not going to be robbed.

What is to say of our youths today? They are living in a world that is so based on technology and television to be precise. Television- it is not the simple device as it seems. I was looking at a cartoon the other day with my children and found that the content was that of an adult's life! The violence was also to a certain degree but, still it was there live in color! Is this what our children have to look forward to?

The video games content are unbelievable! Yes, I see that they are labeled with each age appropriate level but even for my 10 year old it is still violence to a certain degree in most of these games.

So, the "BLEEDING" has been going on for years now with wars and battles but our children are fighting a war to survive in these trying times. To know individualism and be positive leaders is an even bigger task for them than it supposedly was for us. However, we need tto be there for them and let them know not to give up and not to feel unworthy because there lives have not be fulfilled as yet.
