Lap dancing is no crime

The British accept lap dancing as a part and parcel of their workplace culture. Websites that offer such services are wooing the corporates to conduct their meetings in venues that host lap dancing among other fares. A study revealed that nearly 40% of such websites target the corporate world in this way – it benefits both the parties. However, in the Indian context, this would be a farfetched dream - the Women’s Rights groups create a whole lot of problems if the boss so much as looks at his lady colleagues or subordinates with eyes that might suggest invitation for closer calls. Offices have severe codes of conduct which have to be strictly adhered to – else, the boss faces the worst. Lap dancing is an absolute no-no – both in the workplace and away from the madding crowds.
