  • Rick Sanchez Rips Fox News A New One
    Posted by: amalgam80

Pretty soon you might read a story by bloggers accusing every other news channel besides Fox News of not covering the Tea Party. As with most other pieces of information provided by Fox News, this too is false. You may read some on this website, it will not be true.

Fox News took out a one page ad in Washington Post, "How did, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, and CNN miss this story?" Accusing all the other news outlets of totally ignoring the Tea Party put together in Washington D.C.

Every single one of those networks covered the Tea Party in D.C.; they also covered stories about other, smaller Tea Parties. They’ve even brought Dick Armey, Freedomworks Chairman on their shows.

Freedomworks was the rightwing organization that put together the earlier Tea Parties in April as well as the most recent ones. But Armey didn’t work alone; Fox News was the biggest promoter of the protests.

Was Fox News too busy enjoying the party they put together to realize that all the other news organizations were there? Or is this just another attempt at see just how much they can lie and get away with?

Will there be an outcry of people demanding that the NBC cover the Tea Parties, will CBS be called liberal, and will MSNBC be considered communists?

Are the rightwing zombies drones going to forget everything they themselves have seen on television and echo Fox News’ fake claims?

Will Fox News viewers think absolutely nothing of the fact that they are being lied to? I mean it doesn’t get any clearer than this example to illustrate that Fox News will lie to anyone about anything. These are not people that really believe in their cause and are misguided.

No, this clearly shows that Fox News will do anything to discredit anyone and everyone that may be an obstacle.

CNN has released an ad of their own, this one for television, refuting Fox News’ false accusations by showcasing all the different footage CNN had of the Tea Party.

During the Tea Party in D.C. Mike Kibbe, the president of Freedomworks, misquoted an estimate from ABC News in front of a crowd at a rally, which confused Tea Partiers, who believe the crowds were much bigger than it really was.

In front of the crowd Mike Kibbe announced that ABC News reported that the 1 million to 1.5 million people were in attendance. ABC quickly released a statement correcting Kibbe, saying that they got their numbers from the D.C. fire department and that the fire department estimated the crowds to be about 60,000 to 75,000 strong.

A day after his claim Kibbe came forward with a statement explaining his mistake, “From the stage I cited ABC news estimating the crowd at the March on Washington at 1.5 million. I also said ‘with all due respect to our friends in mainstream media, we need our own independent head count. Trust but verify.’ With a dead IPhone, I had been shown tweets from a number of different folks behind the stage citing the ABC estimate. They didn't say it. I regret misrepresenting the network, as their coverage that day was fair and honest."

Fox News just put out an ad practically accusing its competitors of a bias, even though the president of Freedomworks said that not only was ABC News there but that their coverage was fair and honest.

I have to ask, which is better, a 24 hour news channel that is bias, or a 24 hour news channel that is flat out corrupt.

Fox News Channel has just been caught tell a very big and easily provable lie. How will its viewers react?

If I had to make an educated guess, I would say their viewers will look you straight into your eyes and deny such an accusation and call you a liberal, as if that’s a bad thing.

Fox News viewers will not come to their senses, and this too they will rationalize some how. I just want to see how.
