In view of increasing instances of crimes committed on senior citizens, especially who live in isolation, the local police and NGOs keep coming out with new ideas. The latest is a website devoted to the senior citizens – they can register themselves and provide all relevant details that might come in handy to trace culprits. The website is yet to take off in full swing but the idea is commendable. While it is impressed upon seniors to keep the police informed about the details of their servants and domestic helps, crimes continue. These crimes range from normal thefts and cheatings to murders. Hence this website should prove useful.
