Courtney Has No "Love" for Hero

Ever since the release of Guitar Hero 5 earlier this month by game maker Activision the ex-wife Courtney LoveCourtney Love (and head of the estate) of Kurt Cobain has been blasting the game maker and threatening to sue the game company for their use of her ex-husband's image. But according to CEO Dan Rosenweig Courtney not only knew exactly what was in the contract but she has also cashed the check for the use of Cobain's image and voice in the game. Rocker John Bon Jove and former Nirvana bandmates Dave Grohl and Kris Novoselic have also added their voices to the dismay of Guitar Hero's use of Cobain. Rosenweig said that he would be willing to open a dialogue with Love and the members of Nirvana but clear up any misunderstanding but he cannot help any lack of communication between Love and the band members.

The fact that Guitar Hero has just released their fifth edition demonstrates the popularity of the game for rocker wannabes to strut their stuff and have a good time. The characters used in the game are very funny and entertaining. (See video)
