The Illegal Green

Though a very controversial topic to many, the legalization of marijuana has already produced a decent list of percs to this troubled economy. First off, the legalization of this substance on a nationwide level would most likely spell the end of tree cutting for paper. Why, do you ask, because the use of hemp seeds (part of the marijuana plant) can be used to produce paper, thus eliminating the need for trees, as well as fabrics, concrete strengtheners, different types of fuels, dietary suppliments, and even water purification to name a few.

On a medical note, marijuana is utilized in many ways. Studies have shown cannibus to seemingly protect against neck, head, lung, and even breast cancer. Those with AID's insomnia, and anxiety utilize mairjuana to combat the synptoms of their conditions. Having first hand experience with medical marijuana, I would agree as far as insomni and anxiety are concerned.

With the passing of a bill that will someday legalize marijuana nationwide, would instantly raise questions on distribution tactics. The number of jobs in the country would increase due to the opening of distribution centers, commercial growers, and advertisers. Thses three listed jobs alone would give thousands if not millions of unemployed citizens job oppurtunities. This is just something to keep in mind the next time marijuana is thrown up as being nothing more than a zombie creating gateway drug that can only further ruin our economy.
