US president Barack Obama Modernizing the Bush era Missile defence sheld in Europe , though the new one will be mainly based on the existing plan only.According to the US president the new system will provide greater defense mechanism and facilities than the existing proposed programme.

According to Barack Obama the changes done due to the updated assesement of intelligence and Iran's ability to hit the Europe with missiles.According to him the small and the medium range missiles are the matter of threat and the new ballastic defense system will be the best to defencethe threat.

The bush era proposed to set up a radar site in czech republic and 10 misile interceptors in Poland but now in the new plan about 100 of missile interceptors and mobile radars will be included.
