Patrick Swayzie

Patrick Swayzie born 1959, age 57, died Monday September 14, 2009 at his parents house, with his sweet, dear, loving supportive wife, mother and father who was also very supportive along with his children who were all by his side. He chose not to die out at his rang home. He met his wife when he was 34 years old and they made a movie together 'Molly.' The day he passed away, his book which he dedicated to his dear, loving wife arrived at his front door. His book will be available for the public to buy September 29, 2009.

He battled with Pancreatic Cancer, for many years from smoking. The disease doesn't just strike men-women are at risk too. It's quite rare, striking 5 out of every 1000,000 or about 42,000 Americans; with the mortality rate being so unbelievably high that's approximately 35,00 Americans die from from this disasterous disease every year. The disease occurs twice as often in me as in women. It's the fifth leading cause of death for women and the fourth in men. If you smoke, please stop for your own health. If you don't smoke, please don't start, for a healthier you!

Patrick Swayzie was in 'Dirty Dancing,' 'Ghost,' and 'Roadhouse.' His looks alone can turn any woman's head. He was everything a woman desired. Patrick Swayzie had Pancreas Cancer, him knowing smoking is the main cause, he still continued to do so until the day he died. Knowing smoking causes Pancreas Cancer, I would NEVER smoke. Smoking also causes black lungs and throat cancer. I don't smoke. Like I always say, "Smoking gives you a less life to live." It's just too unhealthy. I believe what's the point of smoking? Why even bother? I don't have anything against anyone else who smokes. It's up to the person, their own choice. You live the life you want. Don't let anybody else tell you differently. It's your choice. "Do you want to be happy?

Last night on 'Dancing With The Stars,' they had a Very Special Tribute To Patrcik Swayzie with beautiful pictures of him all around the walls. The dancers did a spectacular performances dancing to his beautiful songs. In the beginning, they showed him in the backstage when he was still alive putting everything together.
