The Green Hornet Filming Underway
The Green Hornet filming is now underway or has been since August 9th, the film is scheduled for a July 9th, 2010 release. The Green Hornet originally apeared in 1940 then again in 1941, then it became a spin off from the Batman TV series in 1966 with Van Williams as Britt Ried and his more famous side kick Kato played by Bruce Lee.
There were 26 episodes from 1966 to 1967, the show was created by the same people who created the Lone Ranger and the Green Hornet was suppose to be a decendant of the Lone Ranger, interesting huh?
The cast of the new Green Hornet are as follows:
Seth Rogan- Britt Reid / Green Hornet
Cameron Diaz- Lenore Case
David Harbour
Jay Chou-Kato
Which leads me to wonder will Jay Chou be able to fill Bruce Lees shoes, we'll find out in 2010.

Thanks for this update. I am not too familiar with the original show, but from what I've heard of this film, it seems like something people are really anticipating. It will be interesting to see how it turns out.
I was a big fan when I was a kid, especially a big fan of Bruce Lee, thanks for your post. I'll follow the scoop, and report it as I get it.
