Brown Tries To Control The Nation

Love him or hate him Derren Brown has become an even greater international man of mystery than Austin Powers.

After his recent lottery numbers prediction was reported in a Channel 4 documentary last week, like all his stunts and bank managers they tend to cause more questions than answers. So while David Blaine is busy contemplating whether or not to jump off a space shuttle in mid flight and attempt to land head first in the Pacific Ocean, Brown, not one to be easily outdone has announced his latest stunt, to control the nation.

This Friday on Channel 4 the lord of illusions will be attempting to brainwash the entire nation using subliminal messages that will leave viewers stuck to their seats for several minutes. To me this seems like the reverse psychological effect of sitting down in front of the 42" plasma and contemplating watching an episode of Big Brother.

Allegedly this stunt has never been done or seen before but I do find it most interesting that another 'Brown' has been attempting to do the same thing, albeit rather unsuccessfully since 2007.
