Actor Patrick Swayze has succumbed to pancreatic cancer Monday September 14 at the age of 57. Swayze is most remembered for his roles in the widely popular 1987 movie Dirty Dancing co-starring Jennifer Grey where he played bad boy turned good for Grey's morally good Bab, and as Sam the murdered boyfriend of Demi Moore in the great "Ghost."
In recent years Patrick Swayze starred in the cable series "The Beast" until it was cancelled due to the star's illness. He was brave to face his illness and push through life as if he was invincible. The man is incredible and took the meaning of live your life to the fullest, to the next level. He will be missed. Prayers go out to his family and friends to get throuh this difficult time and may he rest in peace. Swayze is the second individual to pass from cancer this year as Farrah Fawcett passed away from cancer on June 25th.
I feel this is more so a reason to push to find a cure for these fatal diseases. Let's keep our loved ones around and help them to live a long, healthy life.
