Former Taiwan President Chen Shui bian and his wife Wu Shu Chen are under life imprisonment for the corruption case.
As court heared this sentence and blamed them for curruption.
On the otherside Chen said political enemies trying to grip us.
Officials said that in December last year,Chen was arrested outside the country.
Court found Chen with the embezzlement of public funds, to turn black money into white money, convicted of bribe taking and cheating.
Court spokesman said that Chen had misused his office powers, which has tarnished the reputation of the country.
That is why,court took this matter seriously and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
At outside of court,there were present hundreds of Chen's supporters,they opposed the Court's decision and were shouting slogans "Chan is innocent ',' Chen should be acquitted" .
