China & US Go Toe to Toe

Beijing : China | 2 months ago

With American President Barack Obama's popularity constantly on the decline because of unpopular remarks and political moves one would think he would lay low for a while. However, as usual I would be completely off as China has struck back at Obama's recent tire tariff. China has laid on the full court press in a stern response to the decision to levy tariffs on tires from China. China's answer is simple; imposing tariffs on American exports of automotive products and chicken meat.

As news of President Obama's tariff on tires hit the Chinese news outlets, the Chinese citizens struck back all over the web calling Obama "shameless" and some pleading for the Chinese government to cash in all of their treasury bonds they have, which couldn't be cashed at this juncture in time by the American government. All of these threats and problems are arising because both governments are facing domestic pressure to take a tougher stance on the other countries economic issues.
