A rapist in disguise
It shocks you when someone you believe to be trustworthy turns out to be a villain. From being a do-gooder he turns out to be a no-gooder. Byomkesh Tripathy, an award winning NGO of Orissa was in the habit of raping the inmates of the Home for Destitute that he had set up and that had fetched him recognition and awards. They were easy prey. One of the awards was handed over by no less a person than an ex President of India in 2004-2005. Tripathy has said that it is a conspiracy and that he is being victimized. He says in his defence that people are out to tarnish his reputation and spoil his image. But, the police have come across incriminating evidence in the form of porn CDs, photographs and other objectionable material that he would have difficulty in explaining off.
