Actress Tina Fey poses with her Emmy award for Outstanding Guest ...

September 13, 2009

Actress Tina Fey has won an Emmy Award for her Saturday Night Live portrayals of former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Fey picked up her award on Saturday, winning in the technical achievement category of the Creative Arts Primetime Emmys. Next weekend will see the televised portion of the Emmy Awards where the remainder of the awards will be handed out.

It would probably be considered politically incorrect to question whether Fey would have perhaps made a better candidate than did Palin, but Fey appeared to be better prepared in her sketches than the candidate did on the campaign trail. Better cue cards, maybe.

Will Fey dust off those look-alike glasses once again if the ex-governor decides to run for a second time? 'Betcha not. Palin's just not that funny any more. Scary, yes - but funny, no.

I agree that Tina Fey definitely did a great job, infact an excellent job impersonating Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live, and is definitely deserving of the Emmy award and quite the looker to a very beautiful woman. She could be my Governor anyday Sarah Palin to.
