It was quiet day met with vacuous reflection of his day of work. He was walking home, unaware of the cataclysm about to make his aquaintenance on that fateful walk home. It would be his last day he would ever work again. It would also be the last day he would ever have a normal existance.
Steve Gator, a 26 year old in Romford,Essex, was jumped by two teenage thugs. He was punched so hard that his head swelled and his brain suffered irrepairable damage. (Surgeons had no choice by remove half of his brain and skull.) The two thugs started screaming taunts and abuse at him about his cousin but when he confronted them he was hit so hard he fell back and smashed his head on the pavement.
He's just a different boy. His sparkle is totally gone. He used to be so independent but he can't work any more and he can't drive. He's got half-a-head and he's completely lost his confidence. (1) His mother,Nina Gator, was quoted saying.
The near fatal injury left him in a coma for two weeks.He now suffers seizures,moderate brain damage, difficulty talking, and has lost most of his memory. Because this effected his frontal lobe, he has lost a major portion of his personality, motor function, problem solving, spontaneity, memory, language, initiation, judgement, impulse control, and social and sexual behavior. (which coicides with his mother's aforementioned statement)
Steve lives with his mother Nna now, who is his primary caretaker as he can't take care of himself at all.
"There's absolutely nothing protecting his brain now - it's just under his skin. We're waiting for surgery for a new skull plate to be put in." (2)
The worst part of this tragedy, if there is such a thing, is that the two teenage thugs will not be prosecuted for this assault.
According to CPS, "We gave the CPS all the evidence available and after reviewing the case they decided not to proceed with it. We adhere to their decision."

this story has been twisted in so many nubers of ways its unbeliveable causin many people including frien in and out of the harold hill area to turn against them till the point were the other two boy out of the group of 4 was attack the following evening but a guys out of a bout a group of 20 and theses were grown men .
people tried to say that the 2 thugs as they call them used weapons some had went as far as saying steve gator was dead to turn many against them
there was a massive facebook group made against the 2 teenagers full of racial hate and death threats witch was shortly removed of face book.
for any one who know the boys know there not thugs and know they have a very important entertainment career ahead of them
and had suffered racism from many members and group from this area for around 6 years
so in my eyes this was a racial attack that back fired
the reason the didnt go down was cps couldnt find enough evidents to take it to higher court and also the story was twisted so many time that wen statment were being given most of them were completely different
