Britney Spears Appearing at the VMA's This Year? People Want To Know!

While she is still touring the globe with her widely successful tour, The Circus: Starring Britney Spears, fans around the world are itching to get a taste of something more. And that something more is Spears' empire awards show, the MTV VMAS. And people want to know!

MTV is known for waiting until the very last second before announcing who their "big-winners" will be and whether or not they will be attending. MTV also released a commercial recently promoting the VMAS, with this years host and bad boy comedian, Russell BrandRussell Brand in which they teased around about Britney's appearance on the show. While it's clear that MTV recognizes that Spears is their key to larger ratings, saying recently that Britney Spears "is the VMAS", they also recognize what can be accomplished by keeping her appearance on hiatus to attract even more attention. Even if all she does is stand on stage for a mere 60 seconds to announce a set of nominees or to accept an award herself, it's pretty evident that Mrs.Spears turns heads no matter what she's doing.

Also recently MTV released photos of the place cards set in their seats where the celebs will be sitting on the big night. Britney's card remains to be seen, which begs the question still hanging in the air, will Britney Spears attend the VMAS this year?
