Despite the more recent revelations about ACORN workers in Baltimore, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Brooklyn, N.Y. caught on tape encouraging tax fraud, prostitution, and importation of under-aged illegal aliens for purposes of enslaving them in the sex trade the Obama White House and the major media outlets refuse to even acknowledge or comment on these disturbing revelations. These incidents, one in a series of allegations and investigations of incidents of voter registration fraud, misuse of funds, and embezzlement at the highest levels of ACORN, confirm an organization that is rife with corruption.
President Obama, has a long history of association with the ACORN organization and it’s clear that whenever the president needs to drum up support for any of his programs at the local level the ACORN folks are out in force in their bright red t-shirts, so I guess it's understandable why the White House doesn't care to comment on the latest revelations. What's impossible to understand is why the members of the media refuse to give this story any credence. There was a time, no too long ago, when news shows like "60 Minutes" prided themselves on these kind of investigations, but that show apparently prefers to be a shill for the Obama administration these days.
The only positive reaction to this story is that the Census Bureau has announced that they will not be using ACORN for any part of the 2010 census. But, given that the ACORN organization is being given millions of tax payer dollars and is in line for billions of dollars more, and that this organization is scheduled to be actively involved in the upcoming census, the Congress of the United States needs to hold Congressional hearings and investigations into this organization before they receive one more dollar of government funds or become involved with the census.
House Judiciary Chairman John Conyers (D-MI) initiated hearings into ACORN last spring but was told by higher-ups to back off the investigation. Don’t let them get away with anymore misuse of your tax dollars.
Americans are encouraged to write to the President, your Senator, and your Congressman today and demand that they initiate an investigation into ACORN immediately.
